Day 1 - Bodrum
Boarding starts at 15:30 pm at Bodrum Harbour. On the first day, our gulet will remain anchored at the Bodrum Port for dinner and stay here overnight. Early arriving guests can leave their luggage at our office.
Bodrum has a history that goes back to the 12th century B.C. The city was called 'Halicarnassus' and was the birthplace of Herodotus the 'Father of History' who lived here in the 5th century B.C. The Mausoleum of King Mausolus (350 B.C.), which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is also located in this city. The only structure that has survived from the classical era is the Amphitheatre. It is one of the oldest theatres in Anatolia with a seating capacity of 13, 000 guests and is still hosting many shows and concerts for the art-lovers of Bodrum.
Another place that you should visit when you arrive in Bodrum is the landmark of the city ? the 'Castle of Saint Peter'. It is one of the best preserved pieces of architecture with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. Myndos Gate through which Alexander the Great entered Halicarnassus is another place that you should not miss! After dinner if you can socialize with other gusts on the gulet of visit a fun bar at Bodrum Bar Street. Bodrum is very famous for its vibrant night life.
Day 2 - Kos Island
Following breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the gulet. After the customs formalities are complete, we will cruise to Kos Island.
Asclepion, known to be the birth place of Hippocrates, who is 'the Father of Medical Sciences', is located here. All the people hailing from the eastern Mediterranean region with health problems were treated in Kos. Kos is the second largest island of the 12 islands (Dodecanese islands). It has a very mild climate and very fertile lands. The island houses a 560-year-old tree, a 211-year-old fountain and a 290 km long beach. You may take a quick swim at the Lambi Beach which is very close to Kos Harbour. Kos is one of the islands with the best night life. Nafklirou, a street full of bars, is always crowded, colourful and full of life.
Day 3 - Pserimos Island, Leros Island
We will start to cruise early in the morning to Pserimos Island for breakfast and a swimming break. Then we will cruise to the beautiful island of Leros.
Leros is a green, mountainous island with high cliffs and many small bays and villages. After lunch and a swimming break at Xerakampos, we will anchor at Lakki Harbour or Agia Marina Port located in the east. You should visit Platanos the main city of Leros with steep stairs, narrow streets and flower gardens. From Platanos you can take the steps leading up the Castle of Leros climbing 300 steps! Rent a bike or explore this island on foot!
Day 4 - Patmos Island
We will cruise to Patmos Island early in the morning. We will have a swimming break in a bay around the island. Patmos is not a big island, but it is one of the best known. It was here that St. John completed the last part of 'The Apocalypse of John', and this is why Patmos is sometimes called "The Jerusalem of the Aegean". The Monastery of St. John’s towers above the capital – a village called Chora – and actually the whole island breathes of faith and devotion. According to mythology, Patmos was a present from Zeus to his daughter Artemis, goddess of hunting and young women. She was worshipped here in antiquity and the monastery of St. John was built on her temple. You may have an optional tour to these places. After breakfast, you may take a walk through the monasteries. Our yacht will stay at Patmos Port for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 - Lipsi Island
We will set sail to Lipsi Island and have a swimming break in one of the many small islands in front of Lipsi. Lipsi Island is famed for several beautiful and sandy beaches such as Platis and Giolos with their crystal green waters. The capital with its white houses, numerous taverns, cafeterias and restaurants is located in the small natural port. On the island, the Church of the Catopanaghia constructed in the 7th century deserves a visit, along with the Church of Panopanaghia dating back to the 15th century.
Day 6 - Kalymnos Island
After a swimming break in a beautiful bay around Kalymnos Island, we will enter Pothia Harbour, which is the capital of the island. The islanders chose sponge-diving as a livelihood for centuries. There are nice beaches such as Massouri, Mirties and Vlyhadia around the island.
Day 7 - Turgutreis, Aspat, Akvaryum Bay
We will enter Turkey and do the paper formalities in Turgutreis. We will have a swimming break at Aspat Bay. You will see the famous Aspat Tower. After breakfast we will cruise to Aquarium Bay. This amazing place has a cristal blue and clean water. Perfect for swimming and watching the life under the water. Last overnight and dinner will be in the Bodrum Harbour.
Day 8 - Bodrum
The guests will leave the gulet with precious memories of the tour by 10:30am after a hearty breakfast.
